General Guidelines
- Wear comfortable clothes to class that allow you to move freely.
- It is best to practice on an empty stomach. If you need to eat prior to your practice, we suggest having fruit or juice at least 2 hours prior to your class and for heavier meals, 4 hours prior to your class.
- Please arrive 10 minutes prior to class.
- Please turn off all cell phones and pagers prior to class.
- Please notify the teacher of any injuries or physical limitations/concerns that you have before class begins.
- We encourage you to bring your own yoga mat. Mats are also available for purchase.
- Important – always practice at your own level of ability, respecting limitations. Rest when you need to and avoid straining or pushing in the poses. The benefits of yoga come from gentle and consistent practice with awareness.
